JAVA Developer
Location: Brussels, Belgium
Work Model: Hybrid (2–3 days per week on-site)
Project Duration: 3 Years (Starting January 2st, 2026)
Languages: Native / C2 Level of English

4 - 6 years of professional experience in Java development (including Spring Boot and REST APIs).
Strong understanding of Microservice architecture and distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with cloud-native applications (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Solid understanding of database systems, SQL, and ORM technologies

We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst/Developer with strong backend development expertise and hands-on experience with Quarkus. This is a key role in a cross-functional Agile team where you'll contribute to designing and implementing APIs that drive business-critical features.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and development of backend REST APIs using Quarkus
Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges throughout the development lifecycle
Collaborate in Scrum ceremonies and grooming sessions to estimate and refine work items
Ensure code quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD)
Technical Requirements:
Proven experience in Java backend development, ideally with Quarkus
Strong knowledge of Java JEE, JPA, and Oracle SQL
Familiarity with GIT, OpenShift, and tools like Swagger UI, Postman, SOAPUI
Experience with TDD using tools like JUnit (Protractor is a plus)
Background with legacy frameworks like Struts/Hibernate is a bonus
Soft Skills:
